The Thong Also Rises!
Get ready to crack up! The third in the successful line of women's humor books with Travelers' Tales is brand NEW. We started with Sand in My Bra: Funny Women Write from the Road, and added Whose Panties Are These? soon after. Our fans asked what the third book was going to be called, and when we suggested something non-undies, they barked long and loud. "What about garters, corsets, thongs!" Well, we heard you. The Thong Also Rises: Further Misadventures from Funny Women on the Road releases in September.
Viva Las Vegas!
Jen is building a travel website based on the idea that anyone can have fun in Las Vegas. Even if—don't say it—you hate gambling. VivaLasVegasBlog.com is a full service travel website in the making. Hold on to your hats and glasses because Jen won't stop writing about Vegas until every rock of fun has been overturned. And that's not possible! There is an endless sea of fun in Glitter Gulch.
WHAT?!—A Fourth Humor Book?!
That's right, we can't stop, but we thought we'd try. We're going to wrap up this empire of undergarment books with the fourth book. What Color is Your Underwear? is scheduled to release Spring '06. So, if you have a bizarre misadventure that is sure to bring belly laughs, turn it in already! But there's something very unique about the fourthie—it's COED. You heard me, men are welcomed with open arms. Come on boys, give us your worst dirt that's fit to print.
Jen is moving to Las Vegas
Sometime in Spring 2005 Jen plans to move to Las Vegas. She's currently working on getting assignments to cover the World Series of Poker. If you are an editor, step right up and put her to work.

- Cheap Stingy Bastards will be a travel tip book by Jen. The goal is to give practical budget travel advice while making you laugh - especially at the embarrassing personal testimonials from those who've gone over the edge to save a buck. Advertising in the book will be available and marketing stunts and sponsorship is encouraged. Jen will be going all out for this book. Whose Panties Are These? Makes the Southern California Booksellers Association Bestseller List
Whose Panties Are These? was ranked as #14 on the Southern California Booksellers Association's Bestseller list for the week ending October 31, 2004. And #13 the next week! The SCBA represents a wide variety of independent booksellers including Distant Lands in Pasadena, California Map & Travel Center in Santa Monica, and Travelers' Bookcase in Los Angeles.
Grand Prize Winner
Thanks NATJA! Jen was named a 2003 Grand Prize winner from the North American Travel Journalists Association for Sand in My Bra. Thanks to the Fairmont Chicago, Blackbird, Piazza Bella Trattoria, and The Signature Room at the John Hancock Center, she'll be living it up in one of her favorite cities.
